Bible Answer: Hello grey, Welcome to the Forum :) Some say Saturday, some say Sunday. I don’t believe it matters. Here is what the Nelson’s Illustrated Bible Dictionary says in part. SABBATH Historically, Christians of this persuasion usually observe Sunday, the first day of the week, as the Christian Sabbath. They note that Christ arose on the first day of the week (Matt 28:1) and, thereafter, the New Testament church regularly worshiped on Sunday (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor 16:2; Rev 1:10). This day on which Jesus arose was called the LORD'S DAY (Rev 1:10). Here is something Jesus had to say about it. Mark 2:23 (ESV) "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
