Bible Question:
what does unleavened bread mean ? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Recie! I'm a baker, so I can answer this question! ;-) Unleavened bread simply refers to bread made without any yeast. It is first mentioned during the passover in Egypt. The Israelites were to make bread without yeast as a sign of the hurry that they were in to leave Egypt. Bread with yeast takes longer to make since one must wait for the dough to rise.
