Subject: Why is history repeated in Genesis? |
Bible Note: Hi, Doc. Your answer is fine, and the only addendum I'd care to make to the question of why God wrote the Bible the way He did is, Because He did! This question is merely a variation in the long line of questions which begin with "Why did God...?" And all these questions can be dismissed with the universal answer, "Because He did!" It may not be a dazzling answer but it's the safest answer. Almost all other answers call for various degrees of presumption and speculation, a dangerous duo to play around with when attempting to parse the motives of the sovereign God! --Hank |
