Bible Question:
I find the Bibleforum quite an interesting site. I just happen to come across it while surfing the net. Some questions I had in my mind was clarified because of this site. But there are still some unanswered questions in my mind and I hope someone can out there can help me. I ask myself questions in my mind. (1)Why am I feeling uncertainity in my mind? (2)Am I truly forgiven? I am very sorry for my sins, really sorry. In fact I wished all the wrong things deeds I did was never done. (3)If I am sorry and I confessed I am truly sorry for my sins, why is it at times thoughts come in my head questioning, am I sorry or not? (4)Sometimes when I do wrong things I know they are wrong, but why do they feel right when I know I was wrong? (5)And why do I at times get the feeling as if I am not sorry when I am? (6) Is there something else I need to do or say to God? (7)Do I just need to pray more and read the word of God to renew my mind? Thanks very much in advance for helping me. Majestic |
Bible Answer: Majestic, There are actually many scientific and historical proofs found within scripture that confirm for the Christian the validity of the Bible. There are no known scientific facts that run counter to anything in scripture. Whether the transmission of disease by germs, the incompatibility of flesh between animals and humans or the knowledge of a round Earth, the Bible disclosed all these things centuries before they were ever discovered by scientists. What you require is an understanding of God's Master Plan. There is only one way for it to be received. Ask God to help and He will provide you with the messenger. Your job will then be to analyze all that is taught so you are confident in your own mind that the information is correct. Ultimately, you must become an independent thinker within the framework of Scripture so that you can share your knowledge with others. Radical, yes; fanatical, no. Keep praying for guidance and God will be faithful. Best regards, AO |
