Bible Question: What does chapter 1 mean? |
Bible Answer: Bill, unless you have a SPECIFIC chapter of the Bible in mind, "chapter 1" has no meaning other than to enable readers to be directed to a specific portion of God's Word. If I read something in the Psalms, for example, and wanted to share it with you, it would take a long time for me to direct you to the exact location without the aid of chapters and verses. Think of chapters as route signs on your journey. May God bless you through the reading of His Word. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17 mommapbs |
