Subject: Question: ESV or NASB Update |
Bible Note: I have also used the NASB and the NASB Updated for many years and love it for personal reading. But I found if I try to read either aloud I get tongue tied. Something about the sentence construction just ties my tongue up. I know others that complain of the same thing. I have found ESV far easier for reading out loud. However I'm a capitalize the pronouns referring to deity freak and ESV doesn't do this. To me this lack of capitalization is maddening. Therefore I have since gone back to my NASB. I do have an issue with Foundation Press and quality. My last Bible was very expensive and it has failed in a way no other Bible I have ever seen has. The gold gilding, whose main purpose is to protect the pages from moisture, washes off. EdB |
