Bible Question: Was Jesus a prophet |
Bible Answer: In the sense of the word prophet meaning "mouthpiece for God" as it did in the OT, the answer is yes. Jesus was the perfect mouthpiece for since He knew His Father so well. He was then and is now in perfect synce with His Father. This is clearly shown in Matt 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." God bless. --Rowdy |
