Bible Note: Hi Makarios, It is good to think about Christ's dominion. I reflected on Scriptures today and considered narrowing down the dominion to one pronoun. 1 Peter 3:22, "...having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to *Him." Mark 16:19, "So when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, *He was received up into heaven, ..." Colossians 2:10, "and in *Him you have been made complete,..." Philippians 2:9, "Therefore also God highly exalted *Him,..." Ephesians 1:23, "...the fullness of *Him who fills all in all." Matthew 26:64, "...hereafter you will see the *Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." Daniel 7:27, "Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; *His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him." Isaiah 9:6, "...a *Son will be given to us." 1 Peter 5:11, "To *Him be dominion forever and ever." 1 Peter 3:22, "...subjected to *Him." Hebrews 2:8, "...left nothing that is not subject to **Him." John 3:35, "The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into *His hand." Matthew 8:27, "What kind of a Man is this that even the winds of the sea obey *Him?" Mark 1:27, "*He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him." However we understand the pronouns of our triune God, He is the true God who is worthy of our praise. From the heart, Ray |
