Bible Question: Did Jesus exsisted in the Old Testament and did anyone see him, if so, where and who saw him ? |
Bible Answer: Jesus is not mentioned by name in the OT, but one can use deductive reasoning to come to the conclusion that He did indeed appear. Simply put, Christ is God incarnate, therefore anytime that Scripture refers to God as an incarnate being, it is in fact Jesus. We know from the NT that Christ was around "since the beginning," and we perceive that the Trinity is in fact the complete picture of God, therefore in instances such as when God walked with Adam in the garden of Eden, we can say that it was Jesus doing the walking. So my answer is that yes Jesus is in the OT, and that many people saw Him. -mm42883 |
