and the sin which israel commit is to leave God and admire of another god

"The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you."(Deutor 4:27)

and they gathered again after wandering accordint to the God's promise

"Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind"(Ezekiel 39:28)

i think..this words applys to us these day
if i admire of another gods ( such as money,power,lust) it will become "bitter and evil" to me
