Bible Question:
Trinity is a big part of our Christian belief. If our eternal happiness realied on this believe why didnt Jesus Christ preach himself. In the red letter bibles you can see Jesus Christ never said he was Gods beggoten son and he was equal to God, why is it not clear if its like the biggest part of our religion it makes no sense to me plz help :) from the heart |
Bible Answer: We are not saved by the our belief in the Trinity, We are saved by our belief that the shed blood of The Son of God cleanses us from all sins, and our life is now to be lived for th one who lived and died for us. Jesus did not come to teach the Trinity, He did not need to. As God, He took Himself the form of a servant to show us that God was our Father. He showed by His actions that He was God in the flesh. And He talked about the Holy Spirit of God as a Person who would speak of Him, as He spoke of His Father. I am suprised that when they said that Jesus never claimed to be the only begotten son that you did not show them John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. |
