Bible Question:
1) why would the night sky cause the psalmist to prolaim the majesty of god. psalm 8:1-2 2) why is God able to use children to praise his name and defend his honor psalm 8:1-2 |
Bible Answer: Greetings dltlshines! Romans 1:20 answers the first question. God has made Himself known to us through His creation - just gazing at the night sky is a humbling experience. We are so small and insignificant, yet the God of the Universe placed the sky with all its starry hosts arrayed there and us beneath its canopy to come to know HIM! If we can describe it as no less than majestic, what should we conclude about the CREATOR?! Secondly, Jesus affirmed children when He declared, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." Mt 18:3 What better voice to deliver praise than one who is able to completely trust God!Children naturally trust; they learn to doubt. See Mt 21:15-16 for an illustration of this contrast. Hope this helps! Blessings, Mommapbs |
