Subject: Heaven or Hell, where is Judas? |
Bible Note: Hello tonize Repentance is two-part. First, we turn from what we are doing. Second, we turn to God and are obedient to Him. Judas turned from what he did and hanged himself. This is not obedience to the living God. Judas was born that the Scriptures might be fulfilled (Matt 26:56 -- betrayal at Gethsemane). He just followed his own desires. God does not make anyone go to hell. If the Savior had not intervened, we all would go there. Jesus did not say Judas was Satan but referred to him more as a henchman. As for God/Jesus using Satan for His purposes, it's already happened more than once. See Job 1,2 and compare 2 Samuel 24:1 with 1 Chron 21:1. Steve |
