Bible Question: What is the verse in Hebrews chapter 6 verse 6 saying |
Bible Answer: Greetings lonelyblue12; Heb. 6:6 NASB says: and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God, and put Him to open shame. This verse along with Heb. 6:4-6 was spoken to Jewish Christian's who had become convert's to Christianity from Judiaism, and is a warning for them to not forfeit their Christian faith in Christ Jesus. Although this was a warning to these Jewish Christian's (Messianic Jews) in particular, this is also a warning for all Christian's in all times, not to depart from the faith. You can also go to the "Quick Search" feature and type in Heb. 6:4 or to the "Questions on verses and type in either Heb. 6:4 or Heb. 6:6 and find more on this hotly debated topic.
