Bible Question (short): Paul, the thirteenth apostle? |
Question (full): Would it be right, or at least O.K. in a literary sort of way, to refer to St. Paul as the "Thirteenth Apostle or disciple." I mean, that is he, for all practical purposes, thought of in this regard and way as far as Christian history is concerned. I realize that he is really not, since there were only twelve, but for a school research paper, I would like to call him this. Would it be alright to do so? |
