Bible Question: What is our relationship as Christians meant to be with the unbelieving? Does this include the lukewarm? And is there is difference between the two? |
Bible Answer: We are to be salt and light to the world, believers as well as the lost. Matt. 5:16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven Matt 10:27 "What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. Matt 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. Col 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. There is no difference between an unbeliever and someone who is lukewarm. We are either for or against Jesus Christ. There is no "in-between". Rev 3:16 'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. |
