Bible Question:
Somewhere in the book of Exodus GOD tells laws about appointing kings (leaders). He says that kings may not enrich themselves when in office. He says essentially the same thing in Deuteronomy Ch. 17, Ver. 16 "But he shall not multiply horses for himself" In the book of Exodus GOD says it more exactly. What GOD says in the book of Exodus is that leaders are the servants of the people and therefore cannot enrich themselves while in office. Does anybody know where where it says the above in the book of Exodus. |
Bible Answer: Correction If they obey the Lord's law and the laws of the county, and they administer justice and share with the poor, that is a good thing. Sorry for the error in my previous post. |
