Bible Answer: I can only assume you're referring to the following Num 12:1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had married a Cushite woman); It looks as though you don't realize that the Jews were under very strict rules to keep the bloodline pure. Moses' brother and sister were upset with Moses for not adhering to that family tradition. But if you continue reading in that chapter, you'll see that God came down rather harshly on them but endorsed Moses. Many times we see that God takes many exceptions to man's traditions such as giving prominence to some other child other than the first born son. Blessings to you. Country Girl |
