Bible Question: what is the meaning of" the sons of god" in genesis ch6:4 |
Bible Answer: The "sons of GOD" is answered by context. it is used only 5 (or 6), times in the bible. The obscure reference; the one I think you want answered is in GEN 6(?). The Key is JOB 1. There it says, and satan came before God and the sons of God were with him (satan). Thus, "sons of God" are angels. The ones in GEN are obviously fallen angels. SEE I,II PET and JUDE for references to them and their fate. HOPE this answers your question. |
