In 1 Sam. 15:35 it says; And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death; nevertheless, Samuel mourned for Saul. Is this verse saying that Saul died before Samuel? From reading 1 Sam. 28:7-19 I am led to believe that Samuel died before Saul, not after. So who died before who? Grace be multiplied unto thee zach† |

Bible Answer: The NIV Bible says: 1 Samuel 15:35 Until the day Samuel died, he did not go to see Saul again, though Samuel mourned for him. And the LORD was grieved that he had made Saul king over Israel. It's amazing how a different order of words can be misinterpreted. |
