Subject: Does it matter if I go to church far awa |
Bible Note: hey Searcher, The miles isn't a real problem, it's the time factor. And no we're not in thatmuch of a rural area, there just aren't that many good Bible believing churches around. The last church we went to we past four churches on the way. They just weren't the type of church we could go to knowing there stand on the Bible or how they believe.Am I making sense? Some were charismatic,[nothing against that ,were just not that way],another preaches that everybody goes to heaven.Another is way to liberal.Need I say more.We used to be very involved when the kids were younger, now they're gone I've changed jobs and my job gets me home never at the same time every nite.I'm not making excuses but this is just the truth and the pastor just dosen't investigate a little bit into why your not there. I'm not mad at him, because we're now seeing that this whole thing had to be from the Lord. We're finding out that there are alot more problems int the church than just what I've told you about. I won't elaborate but really serious stuff.Things that might disqualify the pastor from being the pastor. Let me just say, my wife and I love the Lord and always want Him to be #1 in our lives before anything else.Well anyway now that I've ratteled on it's time to go.Thanks for your responce, fell free to comment.1 Cor. 15:58jb8910 |
