Subject: Consider Rev 11:19 |
Bible Note: THECROSS, where in Scripture does it say that Mary is the 'New Ark of the Covenant'? Is there anything in Scripture that proves that Mary is anything but a simple God-fearing woman? I'm assuming that you meant Mary, the mother of Jesus. THECROSS, I ask that you would base your answers on God's Holy Word. Thank you! EdB stated in response to Rev. 11:19, "Now if there is an Ark in heaven could it be that God to preserve it removed the Ark from man’s presence? We see God’s Glory leave the temple in Ezekiel 10 is it not also be possible that God removed the Ark and mercy seat at that time?" This is very interesting! I certainly believe that it is possible that God removed the Ark at the time that His glory departed from Israel in Ezekiel 10! This would explain its mysterious disappearance. However, I do not see how this would be of substantial importance to Christians, since the symbolism of the Ark is made true and real in our 'flesh and blood' hearts. But to Jews, this 'revelation' would certainly be the most tremendous boost of faith, second only to the revelation of Jesus Christ! Nolan |
