Bible Question: i am thinking of buying one or more bible commentaries. which commentaries are available, and what are they like, how in debth about different things are they, and what are their strengths and weaknesses. as of right now, i only know of three commentaries on the whole bible that seem to be of any value: matthew henry's commentary, the jerome commentary, and the oxford commentary. are there others? what are they all like? |
