Could someone help me , I need to know if the following is in the Bible "He who thinks of Death is dead already." If so where is it??? |
Bible Answer: "He who thinks of Death is dead already." Ain't in the Bible, but you'll probably find it in the same book that says, "God helps those who help themselves!" But a better passage about death is: 1 Cor 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death 1 Cor 15:54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 1 Cor 15:55 "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" 1 Cor 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 1 Cor 15:57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a verse about being dead already, but it's not your verse: 1 Tim 5:6 But she who gives herself to wanton pleasure is dead even while she lives. And the Bible speaks against the fear of death: Heb 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, Heb 2:15 and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. |
