Subject: Getting the verdict before the judgment? |
Bible Note: Job 26:5-6 Im sorry.. i see no relevence here, I just couldn't understand what it was trying to say. Matthew 22:31, 32 This verse says that he is the God of the living and not the dead. And I agree because Psa 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? Ecc 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Isa 38:18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. Psa 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. There is no consciousness in the grave when were sleeping awaiting our change.Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a SET TIME, and remember me! Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my CHANGE COME. Of course hes the God of the living, the dead have no consciousness. Luke 16:19-31 This is a parable of the Jews sharing the gospel with the Gentiles. That is why they are praying to FATHER ABRAHAM and not God. The fact that there not praying to God is enough evidence that this parable is not to be taken litteraly, but figurativly. 1 Thessalonians 5:10 "wether we wake or sleep we should live together"My reply to this is God is every ware. Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. The heavens heavens cannot even contain God. Isaiah 14:9-11; 15-17 These verses are speaking of the ressurection of the ones who will be burnt with the elements of heaven when the heavens are destroyed and rolled up like a scroll devouring Satan and all those not in Christ on the breath of this earth..till they are consumed away in smoke. None of the verses that I checked out from you seemed to line up with the fact that their is consciousness after death. As far as the scriptures in Revalations, well these are after the fact that Christ has already returned and given us heavenly bodies. So I can't use this as evidence to show that a person can go to heaven or hell immediatly after death, and receive the verdict before the judgment. My whole point is that your either in a heavenly body after Christ comes back with his reward, A earthly body while your alive. And the inbetween is unclothed or nakedness....which is sleep(death). The spirit(breath)without the body is dead. |
