Bible Question:
My question is simple. Since God is an All-knowing God, and nothing that happens, happens without Him knowing, why do we pray. No matter what we say in our prayers, what was supposed to happen will be happening. God already knows what will happen and our praying will not change the fact that God already knew what was going to be done.... Thanks for your help!!! |
Bible Answer: Prayer is man cooperating with God! "History belongs to the Intercessor!" God is OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT and OMNIPRESENT. However He accomplishes great things through friendship with man! Prayer is one of those activities that releases great spiritual power to fulfill His desire in the earth. We all know that: James 5 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
