Bible Question: why do we still sin when sin has been rendered powerless and sin is not our master? |
Bible Answer: Rom 7:17 So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. Rom 7:20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. James 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. James 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. James 1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. |
