Bible Question: When was genesis written? and by who? |
Bible Answer: As I thought about your question this verse came to mind. Luke 20:37 And Moses clearly proves that the dead are raised to life. In the passage about the burning bush he speaks of the Lord as "the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' 38 He is the God of the living, not of the dead, for to him all are alive." This is Jesus saying that Moses wrote Exodus so it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that he wrote Genesis. If it was Moses that would answer the when. philemcc |
