Subject: Popular Bible version for Catholics? |
Bible Note: That is an interesting bit of trivia, Emmaus, about J.R.R. Tolkien's being involved in the Jerusalem Bible. That's news to me. My contribution to this trivial pursuit is to note that J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were good friends. And did you know that the initials C.S. stand for Clive Staples? Is it any wonder why Professor Lewis used initials? :-) I dare not ask what J.R.R. stands for! --Hank |
