Subject: Stae violation of worshhip, what to do? |
Bible Note: Chebanna, Greetings to you in the name of our Glorious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I saw Kalos' answer to your question and wanted to take a look at it myself so that I could see what the context of the question is. I personally believe, very strongly, that when a country offers religious freedom, any time that freedom is challenged it needs to be taken to the court of law if possible, and honestly, if they do not change it, then I do believe that you have the right to take a stand for your convictions. Kalos, you did give some good scriptures but now I ask you to consider the book of Acts. In the book of Acts the believers were arrested and put in prison because they obeyed God by worshipping Christ, and by preaching Christ constantly. I look at all the laws that have been twisted in my own county, USA, which I now challenge of a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. They have outlawed the Pledge of Allegiance due to the phrase Under God; they have told our Children that they do not have a right to gather together in the public school systems. They try to stuff tolerance to homosexuality, abortion, secular humanism (which is a religion), and now we are even seeing Colleges who are trying to insist that Freshman go to classes on Islam. Should I as a believer let this continue, or should I obey the LORD Jesus Christ who inspired the Word of God, and obey God rather then men. Also please think more on your view that this was in regards to Jewish religious law and not Roman Civil law. I think if you read it more, and pray about it, you will see that it is both. Remember brother, I may be disagreeing with you, however I see a man who loves the Lord, and who just needs to do some more study on it, and I will do some more study on it as well. If I am wrong, I promise you will here from me again with an apology. In Christ, Pastor Paul Is. 6:8 Pastor/Co-Founder Blue Bonnet Ministries |
