Bible Question:
I'm considering furthering my education by enrolling in an undergrad program in Biblical Studies through Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. Does anyone have any direct experience with Trinity's programs? If so, can you tell me what your opinion is? The fact that they're a distance-learning-only school, and have a somewhat unusual accreditation makes me just a bit nervous. Thanks for any information you can provice. Yours in Christ, Jim Dunne |
Bible Answer: Hello Jim I signed up for one module (a semester's worth), turned in one assignment, and quit. I was never comfortable with the program either. I knew going in that their accreditation was worthless in the U.S., but I was looking for the knowledge rather than prep for a graduate degree. If you want an unaccredited education, go ahead, or check out Columbia Evangelical Seminary (http://www.columbiaseminary.edu/) which is somewhat unique in that they require all their instructors to have graduate degrees in a regionally accredited colleges.
