Bible Question:
stokeyhk please give me your answer on this --- Psalm 110:1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Who is on the right hand? Christ? Who than is on the left? God the Father... Jehovah? |
Bible Answer: part of the image that is on the right hand stems from in my view the days of king solomon. For Solomon sat at the right hand of the father god in his day in the sense that the throne that he sat upon was physically to the right of the house of god wherein sat the king of kings in the sense that god lives, or dwells above the mercy seat in the most holy place. so to sit at the right hand of the father is as in an understanding of god enthroned in the most holy place, and to the right, facing east, sits the king whom god raised up to sit upon the throne that is at the right hand of the father. get it? |
