Subject: Revisions to King James Bible? |
Bible Note: Searcher: Bless you! That was more than I had hoped for. Yes I do have a reprint of the orignal KJV. Reading is slower becauses the letters are different v is u ans many more like this. The spelling is very simular to mine at times, and in some cases it;s a struggle to get the word others are quite easy. I could led some to Christ with it! so at it's, most odd reading in 1611 to now Th e basic word remains basicly the same as near as I can tell. So you got a big hand shake and a God bless you, well dome! Ye doeth well in instruction of the brethern. Here are a few examples of odd spellings. Mark was Marke, sins sinnes, Son Sonne, Forgive forgue, John Iohn, John 3:16 "For God so loued y world, that he gaue his only begotten Sonne: that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life." So ye can seeth it is not also beyondthe the vernderstanding of vesens today. By the way The 1611 had the "Apocrypha" which was take out some where along the line. This is all very interesting to me. I hope youas well. Nelson published a word for reprint of the 1611 in 1982 which I think I remember it was rather costly for a hard back. I do not know if it is still in print anylonger. agape, justme |
