Bible Note: Mommapbs Thanks for the encouragement and support. Not to be disrespective to you, but I think I have to disagree with your comment that we don't need to do Christ-like things. I think if I truly believe in Christ, my not doing Christ-like things, is disrespectful to God. One thing I have learned in the past two years is that Jesus came to earth as a man - 100 percent man. And He proved that we can reject sin. I'm not talking about Jesus being born without sin - He did not accept sin, He rejected it. Maybe just accepting Jesus is enough to meet the minimum standard for entry into heaven, but I think God wants a closer relationship with us than a "just enough" relationship. I asked another question about why Catholics believe in Good Works. The response I received by someone named Emmaus (I am assuming is a Catholic) made a lot of sense to me.
