Subject: Are women allowed to be pastors? |
Bible Note: Lets read this verse in context with the scripture around it. Sons and Heirs 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. It is clear when we read this that it is telling us that since Christ came and died for the sins of all that those who follow Christ and have been obedient to His word have a right to the cleansing power of His blood. Further more this scripture fits perfectly with the following, Acts 10 34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality Romans 2 11For there is no partiality with God. Galatians 2 6But from those who seemed to be something--whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man--for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me. In other words it doesn't matter if you are black, white, yellow, red, French, German, American, African, what ever or who ever you are, all are able to be saved if they are willing to obey the word of God. One of the best ways to give an example of this is with the Jewish nation. They thought that because they were Jews and desendants of Abraham that made them special in Gods eye. They were more concerned about "who" they were, than "what" God wanted them to be. John 8 32And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 33They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, "You will be made free'?" I hope I have answered you question. And please I would perfer that you did not look at the answer that I give you as insight. I merly took what the bible has said and give it to you. Raven |
