Acts 13:8 By the damsel at Philippi. Acts 16:16 By vagabond Jews. Acts 19:13 By sons of Sceva. Acts 19:14-15 Nave’s also lists Matt 24:24 and 2 Thes 2:9 as people involved in fortune telling. We see strong warning about being involved with in Gal 5:19-21 where it talks about forutne telling in the term sorcery. Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, [20] idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, [21] envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. “ The old testament give many cautions about fortune telling.
