Bible Question: how did god respond to the fall of humanity |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Gen 3:1-24, 6:1-8 ... shirl, greetings. When man fell, they tried to hid themselves from God (Gen 3:8) ... but, God called to him (vs 9). He questioned what Adam did (vs 11), who passed the blame to his wife (vs 12), who passed it on (vs 13). When dealing with the serpent, God promised that Christ will have victory over Satan (vs 15). But, there would be consequences for the woman (vs 16) and the man (vv 17-19). God made a covering for them (vs 21) and kicked them our of the Garden (vv 22-24). Later, He was grieved and His heart was filled with pain (6:6), so He wiped out mankind and the animals (vs 7), except for Noah (vs 8). Hope this helps, Searcher |
