Bible Question: what should someone do if their spouse fellowships with one religion (Sevenenth Day Adventist) and the other and the other (Baptist). this is clearly unevenly yoked, but I don't know what to do. The teachings are very different as far as Faith in Christ. |
Bible Answer: This condition will always lead to some degree of friction and can be a barrier to intimacy. Nonetheless, continue to honor your marital vows. Don't put the other down. A Christian should continue to demonstrate a joy from the Lord and honor their spouse. Honoring one's spouse doesn't mean you agree with everything. Then pray for them and pray that the Lord will open the eyes of the heart and soften soil for truth to come true. Again, honor each other, love one another and the Lord will bless this attitude! |
