Bible Answer: My Friend God is always in control. Beyond all else please remember that. We all struggle with what goes on in this world, there is unbelievable hate and wrong that goes on. And at some point in our lives we question if God is in control, and if so why is the world like this? All the evil that is in the world is not Gods doing, He can’t even be near the stuff. But it is all a necessity for free will, so that we can see God and who He is. So the we can be able to choose him Many ask about the people in the planes, in the towers, pentagon, and pittsburg. He was there, and each and everyone of those people had made a choice already, on wheater to follow God or not. Remember when the Bible says: James 4:14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. We all need to make the choice, and choose God. The ones that did are in eternal rest with our Savior, the ones that didn’t should have. Those that trusted him then wanted to be with Him, not here on this earth with all of its pain and suffering. We should be in mourning for the families and loved ones, but not for those saved, we should rejoice! For they are in heaven this very moment! It is OK to be upset with God, in fact tell Him that you are! But don’t stop seeking him or talking to him at all! God suffers pain just as you do, and he looks down on us, his little children, and cries that we could do such things to each other. You are in good company, the prophet Jeremiah in Chapter 20 verse 7 was angry with God. Just don’t sin in your anger by turning from Him. Why all this suffering, why does God allow it? Because it is thorough suffering that we find God. There was only one way for us to be saved: Jesus coming down from heaven, living the perfect life and then dying for us. Suffering and dying for us. Why? Why suffering? Because someone had to pay our debt. Therefore suffering has brought us to God. And He suffers with us. There will come a time when Satan will be put down from this earth, and Jesus will come back to claim His remnant, but until then, we have the choice to claim Jesus as our savior and accept his love and comfort despite our situation. Or we can choose to not fill that hole in our heart and try to live without him. Ultimately it is our decision. In Him, Zach |
