NASB | Revelation 6:10 and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 6:10 They cried in a loud voice, saying, "O Lord, holy and true, how long now before You will sit in judgment and avenge our blood on those [unregenerate ones] who dwell on the earth?" [Gen 4:10; Ps 79:10; 94:3; Zech 1:12] |
Bible Question: When we die, the body goes into the grave and the spirit goes to be with the Lord. I've long wondered, do the disembodied spirits of those who have gone to be with the Lord recognize each other and communicate or interact in their present state? The only thing I've found that I believe speaks to this is Luke 23:43 where Jesus says to the thief on the cross; Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise. I'm made to believe that Jesus meant they would "see" each other and, perhaps, communicate in Paradise. I would appreciate any thoughts that you might have? |
Bible Answer: One can only surmise, but here is a passage that suggets that they will, at least, be in communication with the Lord. |
