Bible Question: What does the phrase "prayer bowls of heaven" mean? Are there bowls in heaven full of our prayers? If so, is this found in the Bible? |

I have heard various folks -- generally trying to affect Biblical language -- use this phrase. I'm a bit hesitant to make any sort of dogmatic assertion about these censers. The Romanists have built an entire doctrine on this very verse, but I deem that they do so without sound interpretive warrant, nor with corroboration from the full sense of Scripture. In Him, Doc |
