AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 22:15 Outside are the dogs [the godless, the impure, those of low moral character] and the sorcerers [with their intoxicating drugs, and magic arts], and the immoral persons [the perverted, the molesters, and the adulterers], and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying (deception, cheating). |
Bible Question (short): Where is hell? |
Question (full): A recent group study brought this question. If John's vision is of the heavenly home to come, If the kingdom to come is the new Jerusalem, then is being outside described in Revelation 22:15 mean that hell is right out of the gate to heaven? Same location? This bothered me a lot. I felt in my heart NO, NO and NO. I did not have the presence of mind, to answer with clarity. Scripture clearly tells of the New heaven and Earth to come and the separation for sinners that do not accept Jesus as LORD prior to death. After getting back to the basics, and taking all scripture into account, I came to a simple answer. Outside, means outside. Not 3 feet, 3miles or 30 miles, but not "inside." An eternal separation and the door won't be open. Whatever the name, hell, Hades, shoal. It is not where Jesus will be and quite frankly that, to me, would be hell. Please expound. Thanks |
