AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 21:8 "But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." |
Bible Question (short): Is no action as bad as evil action? |
Question (full): I vaguely remember a passage in the New Tesament. I am trying to help someone understand that not taking action is the same as standing against God. I think the passage was basically this: "Some will stand for God, some will stand against God, and some will be undecided. Those that are against God and those that were undecided were cast into the lake of fire and glass." Of course, this is not the exact wording. But, I believe I have captured the meaning. Can someone please direct me to the correct verses, so I can make sure it's in there? I thought it was in Revelation, but I'm having trouble finding it there. Please excuse my ignorance, I know I should study more, I am trying. Thank you for your time. |
