Subject: Will sin enter heaven? |
Bible Note: Hello, Yes we are all a work in progress. Sanctification is the work of a lifetime, but this does not mean that we cannot go without sinning for a time. 1 John 1:10 states that if we SAY we are without sin. Those who are sinless, or holy will be the last to admit it. But still this does not mean we will never be without sin. Jesus says 7 times in Revelation what glorious things are in store for the overcomer. We can be overcomers today, and we must be overcomers if we expect to be with God in heaven. I never stated that anyone will sin after death. What I am getting at is: if you die with unconfessed, unrepented sin in your life will you go to heaven, or will you have eternal life? This is the gospel. This is the most confused doctrine in all of Christianity. Satan wants us to believe that we will never stop sinning, and there are many, many professors of Christianity who argue that point. We are saved by grace, but how many "Christians" out there know what that means. Many don't even know what sin is. These are the most important issues in the life of a Christian. We are to make our calling and election sure by knowing that we know Him 1 John 2:3. God Bless you Jeff W |
