AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 2:14 'But I have a few things against you, because you have there some [among you] who are holding to the [corrupt] teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, [enticing them] to eat things that had been sacrificed to idols and to commit [acts of sexual] immorality. Bible Question (short): Exactly what things do you prove them wr |
Question (full): Exactly what things do you prove them wrong on? What specific things are equivilent to eating things sacrificed to idols? Would you, as some say, consider tattoos, celebrating Halloween, paganistic rituals like Easter egg hunts and Christmas trees some of these things? How about the Catholic priesthood? Or is it indulging in pride and deception? Or it is just literally meat sacrificed to idols and sexual sins? This is not a trick question, but a serious inquiry that came to mind while reading Rev. 2 this morning. Looking for people's honest beliefs with scriptural backing so I can learn from those responses. |
