Bible Note: Val, Good day dear sister. Ya know everyone well not everyone, but allot of folks get tied up and bogged down with Revelation. It's not as complicated as we tend to make it. I will agree with RC on one thing. We gotta view things in light of scripture and that includes our study of God's Word. One thing where RC may have come up short was why John penned Revelation. Many don't understand that the church was enduring the brutalised of persecution. In part Revelation was written to encourage the Church during this time. Theirs no need to reconstruct history but it surely possible to follow. And the bible does a good job of laying it all out. Allot of questions can be answered if people will get out of the doctrinal squabbles and just do some good old fashion 2 Timothy 2:15 study of God's Word. And Val it's not a crime if we can't figure something out God will give us what we need. The whole focus of bible is to point people to Jesus Christ and it's our responsibility to reach out to the lost and preach the Gospel. It's quite simple God tells us to go out and make diciples.(Matthew 28:18-20) God's gonna take care of the details. P.S. It's not a sin to tell someone I don't know. In Him, lionheart |
