AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to Him who was sitting upon the cloud, "Put in Your sickle and reap [at once], for the hour to reap [in judgment] has arrived, because the earth's harvest is fully ripened." [Joel 3:13] |
Bible Question (short): Greek word for ripe versus verse 18 |
Question (full): Can anyone tell me what (if any) significance there is in the fact the the greek word for ripe (xeraino) in verse 15 means to dry up (some translatiosn use over ripe) while in verse 18 the greek word is akmazo which means "to be at the prime"? Thanks Kent |
