Bible Question: I have a question and I never want to be mean to anybody or not tell them about Jesus and what I believe and know. When a person or person's come to your door and try to persuade you to believe something other and what the Bible says and you tell them what you believe and they will not listen, what should you do? Does anyone know what the Bible says about it? |
Bible Answer: Hi, JKM... I ask them for as much literature as they will give me, then I ask them not to come back. I trash the literature happy that it won't be read. Meanwhile, I pray that God will have mercy on them for their apostasy. When we have people in our home for whom we are responsible, our first choice should be to protect them. The Puritans used to say, "Showing mercy to the wolf is being cruel to the sheep." In Him, Doc |
