Bible Question:
greetings Tim, Thanks for the answer but you seem to agree the same that sin is still base on behavior, neglecting to do what is right ( comission and omission) even when you said we just have to trust Christ who forgives, you're no stil go back to behavior, isn't it. it's not making the question complicated but i want an answer to whether sin is just base on behavior? Thanks and hope to hear from you again! Peace to you as well! inheavenseyes |
Bible Answer: inheavenseyes, my belief is that sin is not only an offense against God, sin is a condition of being guilty of sin, which is the nature of our flesh. St. Paul sums this up in Romans chap 7, For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. (7:14) For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. (7:15) Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. (7:20) O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (7:24) Peace, Tim |
