AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up. |
Bible Question: I need help on two things. First, is there a verse in the bible that says God would rather a man put his seed in the belly of a whore, than spill it on the ground? second, Where are any verses that tell of the earth being burned up? I have been using a concordance, and my computer at home, but I have hit a block. |
Bible Answer: Hi Scott, Welcome to the forum! Your first inquiry is not found in Scripture. It is unknown where it actually started, but it is not in the Scriptures. If you'd like to read more about this go to: http://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/sayings.cfm The answer your second question can be found in 2 Peter 3:10-12 John |
